That weeks of great time together can turn into months? Months? With one person? Oh, this must be good, for that only happens now and again. That those months become years, and, taking stock after three years, stunning yourself with the realization that you still get accelerated heartbeats when she walks into the room? That may be fine for "regular" people; certainly not for the player. Doesn't work that way. They're sweet, they're fun, the partings almost always gentle and just enough unfulfilled to leave the door open to the future, not at all the way most people "break up," ... repeated up to a dozen or more times per year, carefully selecting who's desirable enough to wish to kiss or hold hands with. How did a plesant afternoon on a warm, sunny day turn into years of devotion, wishing for greater innovation of mind and heart to creatively express, creatively resolve any challenge coming her way, get her to be more happy? Not that she can't resolve most of the challenges that come her way. Competent, bright, funny, cheerful, and so sunny? No co-dependency here, this girl stands up and does.
Despite the penchant for ridicously-priced garments to cover ourselves with, or shoes that could feed a starving village even after being discounted and resold in a second-hand store, and yet, how many people over-tithe? When you meet a human being, any human being, who willingly and most often silently signs and sends a dozen and two dozen checks every month to what by now has grown to hundreds of charitable causes. Hundreds! Accomplished, no less, on some forty to fifty thousand dollars per year. Be honest: how many times in your life have you met people who are earning under fifty thousand take-home per year who manage to keep themselves in real jewerly and fine clothing and still CHOOSE to give away so many thousands of dollars per year?
The answer is, of course, is, "not often." Imagine this type of human being contained in a package of sweetness and desirability that is so fully packed with the highest-quality - "beyond organic" if there is such a thing - energies of exciting love, the kind that gives you ongoing little gushes of pleasure running through your chest, that you repeatedly ask how you could possibly have gotten so lucky. What possible good deeds could I ever have accomplished that would deliver this kind of fulfilling and validating and joy-inducing waves of giggling and just feeling great? Wait, wait, it gets better.
A terrifically wise person was kind enough to teach a valuable piece of wisdom that almost but not quite makes it to the level of PowerGem. Only those shortcuts that work close to one hundred percent of the time for approximately one hundred percent of the people who use them one hundred times can be accurately defined as PowerGems. This bit of wisdom designed to get you to smile and think and decide firmly and act all within ten seconds is not quite a PowerGem because it's only true about eighty percent of the time, a Pareto-level rule, if you will. Consider it and act on it, and you'll actually get younger while retarding the aging process.
From a mind far better-illuminated than my own, "By the time we are fifty, we wear the face we have earned."
With many hundreds of individuals with whom I've interacted for more than a few minutes, this has proved to be impressively consistent. As a result, I adopted it, and, so far, no complaints. What's so much better than all that's already been described is that we're talking about a Linda Evans or Marilyn Barrett or Laurel Buchbinder type, you know, the women who defy time itself by getting even hotter in their thirties than they were in their twenties, then becoming rara aves by looking and comporting themselves even MORE desirably than they had been in their thirties. Contrary to what so many will tell you, dietary influence on this women is measurably lesser than on most humans. The way that they live their lives so superbly supersedes basic nutritional differences. Let's face it: you look just as you live. With very few exceptions, we human being look the way we live. Don't be so quick to pooh-pooh it as a "Well, duhh!" moment. It ia a clear and demonstrable power that each of us has control of. When you choose to relinquish that control, you bear the consequences. When you choose to exercise that control, just as you exercise your hands or legs or heart, you enjoy the consequences so much more.
One such of these magnificent creatures tells me that she fell in love with me. That doesn't make sense for two reasons. First, I am quite certain that, beyond loving her, I'm very much in love with her. So how can it be that the perfect girl feels as excited by me as I am by her? Week after week, month after month, she's more attractive than she was the day we met, and of all the many pleasures I engage in each day, with passion and fulfillment, it is very tough to beat the feeling of when she's in my arms and I'm in hers. When she wraps those arms around me I just get mushy, and for those who have turned left at the wrong time, it's surely an improbable image. Like most of you who are self-directed, who choose to command your time and how you use it, I do not suffer fools lightly, nor some of her foolishness when it goes further over the top than my own such left turns; and still, at the end of each conversation or debate, snit or hurt, that feeling washes over all the rest and dissolves what's not good. One hug, and bing, everything's back on track. How very tempting it is to abandon more than a dozen highly-charged daily activities and who knows how many occasional efforts, to focus exclusively on communicating to every one of two billion humans who need to take better care of the other two billion, the unremitting, medicinal, emotional, staggering power of a hug, two humans embracing and touching with warmth and caring.
